Born and raised in Puerto Rico, by age 4 Chesca was learning how to sing and dance to Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner. On October 12, 2018, Chesca released her very first Spanish Urban/Pop single, "Azúcar," produced by Grammy-winning Jimmy Joker and written by Grammy-winning AJ Janussi, Bilal the chef, I am Chino and Jorge Gómez. Chesca kicked off 2020 earning the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Latin Airplay Chart as a feature with the hit single "Subelo," the Latin version of 'Further Up (Na Na Na Na Na)' by Static and Ben El featuring Pitbull. She was also named by Variety as one of 10 LatinX to Watch in 2020 and was invited to participate at a LARA event honoring Women in Music. Most recently, Chesca performed live with Pitbull and John Travolta on Premios Juventud, closing the show with "Cinco De Mayo."
