West Coast Independent artist Kalifornia Cavi seeks to create a unique sound that embodies a balance of the soul and spirit. To accomplish this goal he embodies EllAMENTZ of life, pain, struggle, hustle, motivation, and triumph of a young black male from South Central Los Angeles striving to make it. Having completing a triangle from the west coast to the east coast and down south, Kalifornia Cavi truly has a range of perspectives to speak from. Raised by a single strong black women, witnessing the 92 riots from directly in the midst of action, to the migration of LA parents to the Inland Empire seeking a better life for their children only to hit the same issues; Cavi found his way back to hustling on the Jersey City streets simply to maintain a lifestyle and graduate college. Cavi then found his way to Atlanta, seeing after many corporate interviews in Atlanta that he was back to square one. His hustle and knowledge, book and street led him to take a crack at the rap game. His skill was always present from the age of twelve and college only enhanced his writing skills; in addition he had battles and cyphers with some of the best that the Cali, New Jersey, New York, and Atlanta streets had to offer. After meeting Norfius (RALAN) and Phoenix Jones of THE ELLAMENTZ from Cleveland in ATL, his style only further manifested into what it is today. From 2009 until, Cavi has grown in his approach on all aspects of his life acquired more wisdom and will be received his MBA this past year 2012, ELLAMENTAL ∀ΦΨΠ. Kalifornia Cavi’s music shows his various range in topics as well as his passion for hip hop. Everyone claims to have a new style or different approach to this game… Kalifornia Cavi may actually have it. Body of Work His body of work consists of a mixtape series entitled Amongst Starz Vol. 1 & 2, an introduction to his music. He also has countless features which spin on internet radio and two singles available on iTunes (Skittles and Ciroc and Lost Love). Recently, this past March of 2013 he was selected to feature on DJ Espees Pheed The Streets The Pilot Mixtape with the record Lost Love ft. Jay Bills.
